Positive Planets and the Horoscope of Jesus

By Peter Chavell

Astrologically, the combination of Venus and Jupiter indicates the best of success, good fortune and higher values.

The astrologers living around the time of Jesus understood the meanings of these planets to be the same as we understand them today. As this conjunction occurred in the sign of Leo they would inevitably expect a child born that day to become a singularly positive leader.

The powerful alignment of the planets Venus and Jupiter on 17 June 2 BC was an astronomical phenomena that would have been known to the astronomers of that period in history. The Magi (also referred to as the "three wise men") would have been able to anticipate the event.

Neptune in Scorpio indicated a strong capacity to heal based on deep spiritual beliefs. In addition Neptune was in the sign that Pluto rules, further reinforcing the positive connection between them.

The reputation that of Jesus is one of a person who is able to relate well to children. When we look at the horoscope of 17 June 2 BC we see that Mercury was in Cancer.

In the horoscope of a person born on 17 June 2 BC, we find ample correlation with these traits. - 16759
